True. Even amongst Thais, those elite establishment from money/status from central regions (like Bangkok) are preferred over those with money/status from north or northeast regions. Thaksin is example of outsider with money/ status but is still not accepted by the elite establishment

Sigh. Miss those time of few years ago when was more fun- late closing places then really close late. Not like now, late closing places can suddenly close at 2 am.
