Erm have an incident with them, board plane @ Bkk, when at take off runway,pilot suddenly say computer got problem got to delay flight for an hour.
Full house on that plane that day, everyone waited for three hour and not ready yet,no drinks or food serve. Aunties start to complain,air stewardess say sop onli after four or five hours delay then they serve food and drink for free(I forgot how many hours already) so we waited till 4hr55min. Engineers are still on board checking and suddenly the pilot announce we are ready to fly. As me and my friends are sitting at first row,I got to see what's happening. As an engineer myself I know the plane is not ready yet as engineers are still cracking their head on repairing the computer.
I ask the air stewardess,are you sure we are ready to take off? She reply captain call. Back to the take off runway again, everyone heard the engine starting up for 20sec and turn off eventually. I was shock and relief when the pilot announce again that the flight will be cancel.
Thats the incident I experience with Tiger and their back up plan can't work it as well, still remember during june or July period got a group of passengers refusing to get off the Tiger plane on the news. That group of ppl waited one day at the airport till morning for their flight, but they were told they can board the next flight which eventually not given till next day. I was lucky as I told them I want the next day flight and went back to hotel and go party till morning.
