Well, I think there is value in joining sites like TLL to get to know contacts first before going over, especially for those not working in Thailand and would like to hunt for non-WL. But as bro Nonteerak rightly pointed out, can't always trust the pics, need to make contact with the girl and get their facebook or Line to see their real pics.
Generally the girls can be divided into 2 categories...(1) Decent girls looking for relationship, (2) Working girls looking for relationship / money with farang. For (1), want to bed them will take effort, they'll want you to be bf before committing, and lots of emotional baggage after succeeding. For (2), easier but they'll start demanding gifts or money in exchange. There's no free meal...
If looking for Gik or ONS, best to go clubs to pick up. There are many info on the places to pick up already, and success rates will vary, but at least you get to meet the girl and develop the chemistry before commiting. Worst case if they ask you to 'take care' of them, u know these are working girls... give them standard rate and send them packing.
