What does Govt do to the HIV + ppl?
Hi all,
I have some questions, it is not regarding symptoms or effect of HIV, but what Govt will do to those HIV + ppl. On DSC webbie: 1. HIV + ppl 's details are kept confidential Yea, employer wont know, still got rice bowl. How about immediate family members? Will DSC get their family support group to inform the person's family ? If they dont inform, i wonder how they stop HIV + ppl from continuing bonking. Who can watch after them. And also how exactly they stop them from bonking, if got other ways. 2. HIV ppl will be referred to Tan Tock Seng Hospital Is medication made compulsory for those HIV + ppl ?? or they can choose not to take? Actually the medication is just a suppressor, there are ppl who live for 15 to 20 years with no medication. 3. HIV medication is how much monthly?? 4. Ppl who got HIV, still must contribute CPF =.- ? I know some of you bros might ask me to ask DSC, but i dont really believe what they say, some things, positive liao, than the table turned. I wanna find out, if really table turn hor.... i rather go MY check or what or self check. Than decide how. |

Re: What does Govt do to the HIV + ppl?
1. HIV + ppl 's details are kept confidential
Yes in certain way. TTS will have records. Family member wouldnt know. But there is another rule which i'm not to sure if it have come into effect (The rule state that immediate family will have right to know) So far to my knowledge It havent happen yet. Only yourself will know min the nurse and doc. DCS cant stop that why some go round spreading it as a sort of revenage. But be warn that there is a penathy for engage in unsafe intercourse when you know you are unsafe. Beside your partner have the right to be known. 2. HIV ppl will be referred to Tan Tock Seng Hospital Not to sure if it is compulsory. But yes they provide the medic, even if not compulsory they will consull you till you feel it is required. It is a supressor, HIV no cure till date. There are some whom by luck recover from HIV, even the researcher doesnt know what happen. But question is are you the one? No one know. 3. HIV medication is how much monthly?? Will check and let you know. a few hundred easily. Gov no sub for it. 4. Ppl who got HIV, still must contribute CPF =.- ? YES. If no need, the employeer sure know right?? |

Re: What does Govt do to the HIV + ppl?
1. HIV + ppl 's details are kept confidential
Yea, employer wont know, still got rice bowl. How about immediate family members? Will DSC get their family support group to inform the person's family ? If they dont inform, i wonder how they stop HIV + ppl from continuing bonking. Who can watch after them. And also how exactly they stop them from bonking, if got other ways. Confidential to outside people, but as hospital records are shared, every hospital will know your HIV positive. Confirm they will not be cutting up your organs after you pass away as well. Clinics not sure thou. Well HIV people are also humans, you can't refrain them from doing this or that. so that's why HIV are still on the rise today. 2. HIV ppl will be referred to Tan Tock Seng Hospital Is medication made compulsory for those HIV + ppl ?? or they can choose not to take? Actually the medication is just a suppressor, there are ppl who live for 15 to 20 years with no medication. DSC is under TTSH, and you need to go for regular checkups there once your HIV +ve. yeah there are people who are HIV+ve which will not develop into AIDS, once u have AIDS u have to keep eating medicine. 3. HIV medication is how much monthly?? local meds? around $400 a week. made in other country $80/mth 4. Ppl who got HIV, still must contribute CPF =.- ? why no need? Also SG govt does not subsidize the use of medisave for HIV meds. [/QUOTE] l

Re: What does Govt do to the HIV + ppl?
The Govt should just pay for a holiday for these HIV+ people to a country which is deemed as a threat to us with the condition that they should fuck and get fucked by as many people of that country as possible.

What does Govt do to the HIV + ppl?
Quote:
1) Confidential but must inform sex partners (FB, WLs, wife etc) (including medical/dental surgeries etc) otherwise can be charge for attempted murder!! Wife etc also go for checkup. 2) Many cases of "normal life span" without getting/dying of AIDS. 3) >$1K per month. 4) CPF like ![]() ![]()

Chlamydia
What is Chlamydia? Chlamydia infection is a sexually transmitted infection caused by the bacteria Chlamydia Trachomatis. Chlamydia Trachomatis can cause a variety of genito-urinary infections such as lymphogranuloma venereum, non-gonococcal urethritis, mucopurulent cervicitis and epididymitis. Chlamydia genital infections occur frequently among sexually active adolescents and young adults. Up to 80% of women will have no noticeable symptoms of an infection and may be mild. Chlamydia can affect both men and women. Chlamydia is spread mainly via sexual intercourse - oral, vaginal and/or anal. Incubation Period for Chlamydia 2 days to 2 weeks. May remain undetected for months or years. Symptoms of Chlamydia - Vaginal Discharge - Abnormal vaginal bleeding - Lower abdominal discomfort - Pain during urination / micturition or Dysuria - Asymptomatic - Chronic chlamydial infections can lead to complications like pelvic inflammatory disease, ectopic pregnancy and infertility Testing for Chlamydia - Clinical signs and symptoms - Cervical, vaginal, urethral, anal or oral/pharyngeal swab tests ( culture or PCR ) - Urine tests ( PCR ) - Blood tests are generally not useful Treatment for Chlamydia Chlamydia can be treated with a single oral dose of antibiotics or a course of antibiotics for 7-14 days. Follow Up for Chlamydia Follow-up testing after 4 weeks is recommended to ensure that chlamydial infection has been completely cured. Patients infected with Chlamydia should also be screened and tested for Syphillis and HIV. Prevention of Chlamydia Avoid multiple sex partners. All sex partners of infected patients in the last 3 months should be screened and treated accordingly. |
