Do you think you will tell anyone if you have HIV?

Very sensitive qns... Imagine you have been tested with HIV, do you think you will tell to the followings:

1) Your Buddy
2) Wife and children
3) Employer
4) Parents
5) Relatives
6) Friends

What do you think? How many will have the courage to tell to yor employer or OC on that or just keep it as a secret and hoping nobody will know? Interesting to know how SBF bros will react if he "got" HIV...

If there is one person you should tell, it would be your wife. No body else needs to know. But your wife, she's the woman you make love to, and she's the one with the greatest risk of getting infected by you. I think she has the right to know.

Guess that's why now there's the anonymous HIV testing.

To encourage people to detect early & seek treatment early to prolong the individual's life.

i agreed wif d bros here. we must let our wife or steady galfriend know abt d true condition. we must b responsible n dun spread tis deadly virus to our love ones. besides doing tat, we must also refrain from visiting FLs liao, otherwise, we will pass d HIV to other innocent ppl thru d ignorant FLs. tat wl be bad.

So, i personally feel tat once a person is detected positive on HIV, he or she must b responsible for their action. He shd stop all sexual intercourse activity n seek medical help.

Unfortunately not many pple will refrain from visiting FLs when they know they have HIV..... There are reports on those pple with HIV recently and according to their interviews, they still go visit FLs once a while to settle their needs. They also STATED that they TRY to protect the FLs by wearing caps and also refrain from doing BBBJ etc to minimize the risk of infections.

Also, do you know that the law had been amended recently that it is a must to INFORM your immediate SPOUSE of yor HIV status if you are detected for HIV? So even if you dont want to tell, also cannot.

In short, even though we agreed on the point of not going to FLs once you have HIV but still there are always a minority of them still doing that...... The number of HIV carriers are increasing in Singapore and the trend is likely to increase with years to come!!!

u r right to say that. n that's why d statistic for HIV infection is so alarming! better b very careful man! lets hope d authorities can give more "education" to d ppl n everybody should take responsibility.
