Just read that on 24 Sept,batam head of transportation agency has announced the ferry will be reduced by RP30k starting same day 24th. And that this is only the 1st phase but the news can only be found on tempo.co and the reduction isn't really a lot... Plus checked on horizon website and ticket still no changes...

Anyone else familiar with this?

From what I've read, it's only for Batam to SG. Not SG to Batam. Regardless, based on the exchange rate, it's only about $2.50 thereabouts. Will be going in later in the afternoon, will update if there are changes.

I also read the same news but checked Horizonfast ferry the prize was S$76 return...

Anyway I am not planning to go Batam anytime soon...

Hmmm... Just had a thought about this that it could be like pre-covid times where they were selling tickets for 500k on official channels but 350k when u buy those orange tickets in batam from the vendors. Maybe this reduction is still the same?

Thanks to the useful information from bros in this thread, finally made my virgin trip to Batam solo at almost 40 years old.

It's pretty much a touch-&-go kind of trip so just writing a brief summary for Batam newbies like me.

Made my booking with Venus & Octopus 2 days before my trip. Yusi(Venus) for massage/hj & Tata(Hallo Kitty) for fj. Prompt replies from both places. Can request girl photos as well so you can take your time to choose

Came in to Batam on the 1030am ferry. Had a quick breakfast in Mega Mall just a 3 min walk away before heading to Venus using Grab.

Pretty much a typical double hj session you probably had before. But Yusi is really pretty & awesome GFE with great personality as well. Wished she did fj though(yea i asked)

Grabbed to a barbershop behind Grand Batam Mall. The barbershop & cafe run by a group of ceweks.... Pretty decent haircut at $9. Didn't try the full grooming package as I was chasing time for Hallo Kitty session. But I got a text during the haircut that Tata was sick. Lucky I had a backup plan at Octopus for Bunga.

I find Bunga much prettier than Yusi. Looks like a pretty poly student who does sports. Only 20 years old! Almost perfect body with tanned skin, perky tits & butt. Really killer body. The downside-a shy & inexperienced girl as she only has a few months working experience. Poor massage but an amazing FJ session once shes gets in the mood. Highly recommended if you are here just for FJ.

Grabbed again to Mega Mall for late lunch & some luti gendang for the ferry back. Just in time for the 1730 ferry.
