bro all the best of luck for u... the onli thin nw left is the waiting time frame fr ur test which i believe high chance will turn -ve as the chance of condom breaking is much lower in comparison so won be so heng furthermore since u say tht it broke onli in ending thus the time period isnt tht long "cross finger"............anyway try nt to give urself too much mental stress cos realli veri tormenting one also nw is lppl cant do anythin but to wait till 3 mths then can check............

1-2 months is still within the window period. To be conclusive, you should go for 1 more test after 3 months, and one more after 6 months. 3 months period should be enough to give you great confidence tat you din kenna HIV, and 6 months is to be 100% sure.

It is good that you are responsible in wanting to go for test. Not to worry much and maybe you can refrain from cheonging for awhile so as to to add more uncertainty.

sorry to hear you have shivers down your spine and are worried. I know how it feels. The last time I had a scare, i felt very worried and every bit of info I read about HIV made me even more worried. Whenever i thought about HIV, my heart would pound and I would feel like its the end.

However, I also realized that having a close friend to talk to made me feel better, and having my family around me also made me feel better and made me treasure them. I never told my family about my scare, but they knew that I was worried about something, so they were very concerned. It was very touching and I swore that I would never take such a risk again. It's just not worth the fear and aggravation to yourself and those around you.

I also realized that you start imagining symptons, even when u are fine. I would feel feverish, and worry its a sign of HIV. Then i took my temperature, it turned out that my temperature is actually normal. When u are worried, your mind plays tricks on you. Luckily, I was given the all clear after the window period.

Tested at AFA again 4weeks after exposure. Still negative. Going again aafter 8 weeks.

after cheonging and reading ur thread, i also got scared liao. gg to swear off casual / commercial sex.

now waiting for window period to be over to test. damn sian and stressed and depressed.

Personally I don't read this section at all initially, and read only the FRs because of the mentality that is "surely I am not going to be that unlucky", and the fact that the FRs give you the kick for some sexual romp.

After reading the sticky thread "All you need to know about STD", I am now more aware of the risks of commercial sex. Though commercial sex is still appealing to me at least for now, I will make sure that I practice safe sex, that is no exchange of sexual fluids, no BBBJ and make sure condom is always intact and not torn.
